So I decided rather than to just go over a bunch of tools and tell explain what they can do I decided to start making a model and then from there just explain what I was doing as I did it.
This is part one of several. After creating the model using textures from I'll apply the textures and using the "UVW Map" modifier I'll scale them without actually doing any UVW Unwrap.
