Description: Shaw TV, Science Steve Kelly takes an inside look at the Bonnybrook sewage treatment plant in Calgary, Alberta.

The City of Calgary collects all the wastewater that comes out homes, schools, businesses, car washes in a sanitary sewer system. The wastewater flows through a pipe system fed mostly by gravity although some is pumped. Eventually it arrives at the Bonnybrook waste water plant. After filming this story TV Cameraman Matt Cook and I spent three days off work during which time we made our own generous donations to the treatment plat.
