    It is 6:15 AM 10/26/2010. I started taping this song at around 2:15 AM. That means I taped and edited this video in just four hours. That is what I call a success. This is a very easy song. The quote unquote intricate parts are simple—but aren't they all? You just have to not over-think the whole process. I lent out my tuner power supply (One Spot) to my friend, so I had to rely on my iPhone's Guitar Tuner application to stay in tune. I hope I was accurately tuned.

    You will probably notice that this song is meant for "Drop D" (DADG) tuning. My bass is intonated to "E Standard" tuning, and I was too lazy to intonate it again just for one song. The D# (2,6) that I play on the second string should be a D# on the first string if it were in "Drop D."

    I made this video for a friend that needs to learn and know this song by tomorrow (Wednesday, October 27th). I hope this is not too late for you, man!

    I am strongly considering getting iLife 2011 so I can do videos in 1080p. Currently with iLife 2009 I can only go up to 720p. What have you heard about iLife 2011 / iMovie 2011?

    Please keep me in your prayers. I am trying out for a weekend-touring praise band on Tuesday, November 2nd. I am not completely crazy about this group. I have a gut feeling of bad things to come. I want to do my best, and I wonder if this is my best. Joining it would take me away from playing on Sundays at my home church to play out. That's a hard thing to give up if I'm only doing it on weekends and not every day for months at a time. I want to tour playing camps, churches, festivals, and retreats.

    Pray for me to find peace in God. Pray I can be smart and wise.
