Synopsis:
Biplab (Prasenjit) is a clerk-typist working in a company that is about to close down. As an individual, Biplab is aloof from people around him including his colleagues and young Tuli who lives in the same complex as he does and is keen to catch his eye As an escape from his mundane everyday existence, he fantasizes about relationships with famous actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Rani Mukherjee, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai. He lights candles every night in his non-descript room and pretends to have a conversation with the actresses on the telephone. As time goes on, his fantsies become more intense and real for him, until one day he starts believing that Aishwarya Rai will marry him. Then as Aishwarya's wedding is announced, his world falls apart...
