In S03E04's Remedial Chaos Theory we see a fridge that has a sticker on it. The sticker makes the fridge look like a vending machine. And on the bottom right corner, whose face do we see; Troy Barnes. The photo is exactly the same as the one where he was literally stuck in a vending machine (with Abed) from S01E18's episode, Basic Genealogy.
