Description: Another slightly unusual take on a Jonathan Coulton song. It's probably a bit in-your-face obvious, but it amuses me and makes for a fun technical exercise. I am indebted to Michael Pletnev's amazing piano transcription of the Nutcracker Suite for some musical ideas, especially the funky finger legato in the left hand. Never would have dreamed that up myself, being a lazy pedal pusher.

The chorus spends most of its time in 5/4 because it's, well, creepier. Honestly? Well, actually I found myself going down the keyboard towards the target bass note and I kept reaching it a beat early. As good an excuse as any, I suppose.
