2010-11 MVP Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls suffered a devastating blow when Rose tore his ACL in the final minute of Game 1 of their opening playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers went on to defeat the Bulls 4-2 and advance to the second round. It was a frustrating loss for the Bulls, who made the Eastern Conference Finals a season ago.

Rose is expected to be out anywhere from 8-12 months. As one of my favorite players in the league, I hope he has a speedy recovery and returns to MVP form.
