    Episode 34: 03-19-1979. While guiding an Army mapping party in the mountains, Luke and the soldiers are attacked by a bushwhacker who kills one soldier and wounds another. Luke takes the wounded man back to the homestead. The Ladies treat him and send for the doctor. Luke and Josh go back to the mountain to find the man. They find and capture him and in the process Luke wounds him and they take him back to be treated. Thinking he is dying the man gives the name of his wife and states that he is a Confederate Soldier under orders. The Army arrives and thinks that he is a Confederate guerrilla. Therin lies the real story and this saga is full of intrigue, romance, suspense, compassion, and satisfaction.
