    I downloaded the HD rotating earth from this video:
    I Downloaded the HD Modern Warfare 2 beam animation from:

    All i did was increase the earths rotation speed to 1 minute, and make the green beam blue. It loops nicely though

    For my desktop I added Rainmeter stuff to make it look even cooler

    If you want to download this video straight from youtube:

    1) google 'download youtube video bookmark' (i used this website: and used the LATEST code for the new bookmarklet)

    2) And if you have windows 7 you will need to google 'dreamscene for windows 7'
    ( i used the download on this website:

    3) And finally you will need to convert the mp4 file to a wmv file (i used after effects)

    Then simply right click on your wmv file and go to 'set as desktop background'
