Description: I really liked Magnoliafan's "Balance of the Force" fan edit of Star Wars Episode 1, particularly his idea to dub over Jar Jar and re-imagine his character through new dialogue. The one thing that kind of took me out of the experience though was that Jar Jar was basically speaking jibberish, and all his dialogue was conveyed through subtitles. It kind of stretched believability that everone in the movie knew Gunganese, and I didn't quite like how the audience's perception of Jar Jar's character was based entirely on what we read at the bottom of the screen.

The technical quality of this video is quite poor, but I meant for it to be a proof-of-concept to see if it was actually possible to sync new dialogue to Jar Jar's voice convincingly. I'm pretty happy with the end results, but if I was going to do an actual edit the video and audio quality would have to be far better than what's here, and that would mean accessing some better recording equipment, first and foremost. Do you think that this is a concept worth pursuing, or is this reimagined version of Jar Jar even more annoying than the original?
