  • Description: Cerberus is normally pretty easy. Not much changes in LV1, you still can survive most of his hits, but not more than two of any hit, so still a threat. Auron's Limit is ALMOST useless here. But basically, if you wait for Cerberus to make a move, he's easier. If you try to combo him in between moves, you'll get bit or jumped on. So when do you attack? I personally think when he walks towards you that he's most vunerable. For me, he never pulls off an attack right away after that. Everything else is random to me. So go for that for his first form.

    When you take off about a bar, he'll start doing an orb move. You can guard these, and it works better than the Thresholder orbs, because these allow you to have longer temp invincibility after you guard one. Just be careful, Cerberus keeps doing that orb move until you get too close to him, and since the orbs push you backward, you'll be guarding for a looooong time. So instead, do Auron's Limit. This will change his attack.

    The BEST opportunity you have is when it tries to bite you. It will raise its middle head and the two side heads will get ready to chomp together. If you get in the middle of this move, a set of Reaction Commands start happening. If you do them right, Cerberus collapses, giving you nice combo chances. I screwed up one time by attempting to do a limit but not realizing Auron was knocked out. Also, look out for falling boulders best you can. It's rare if you get hit by one, but it happened to me once. Oh, and no, once again, the Reaction Command moves does not let you get damaged.

    Q: How do you stay Level 1?
    A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.

    Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
    A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.

    Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
    A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.

    Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
    A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.

    Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
    A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.

    Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?

    Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
    A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.
