Description: Peralta 4th grade students explore mycoremediation and the wonders of mycelium and how it can be used to clean toxins on the earth. This story is adapted from a true story of a cacao farm in Ecuador, where scientists and community members are cleaning the soil with mycelium. This was a collaboration between UCB scientist Mia Rose Maltz, classroom teacher Kelly Rozario, artist Trena Noval and CCA Student Community Fellow Elizabeth Dolbec Oliveras.
