Description: Installed in late 1999, the Expanding Sphere Constellation is the centerpiece of the Hall of Wonder--the first exhibit visitors see when entering the museum. The constellation consists of six expanding spheres that form a gracefully descending spiral. As they move, they create patterns and seem to communicate with one another.
