Since 1993 the Stage Bottles have been punk-rocking all over Europe. Punk rock enthusiasts unfamiliar with the Stage Bottles, who have played about 400 gigs and recorded four studio-albums and quite a number of singles and samplers, must have been living on the back side of the moon.

In september the Stage Bottles will present their fivth studioalbum "Mr.
Punch". In the "Punch and Judy show" Mr. Punch hits everyone who deserves a punishment, which is celebrated by the kids in the audience. This is what the Stage Bottles do with their songs aswell. Again, with lots of melody, unmistakeble sax-sound and, of course, with provocative lyrics, which brought the band both its enenmies as well as its following.

Whatever: Oi!, Punk, Rock or Ska; it?s a special melange, which is represented in the band's audiences that contains people of all kinds of subcultures.

In addition to the fun and energy radiated by the band on gigs, it's the unmistakably antirasist and critical attitude towards society that is their brand mark. This is where the band?s roots in the SHARP movement (Skinheads against racial prejudice) become obvious.
