Just a detail, to avoid any confusion.

This cartoon was made before Yoshi Island came out, that's why Luigi says that he found Yoshi as a baby.
Though, the real Yoshi Island's history says the opposite.
So yeah, Nintendo screwed up here, but whatever, just enjoy the cartoon :)
