The "virtual inquiry" was established by the Commonwealth Attorney-General Mr McCelland into the 'arrest, detention, charging and prosecution' of Dr Mohamed Haneef (the Clarke Inquiry). The inquiry is headed by former NSW Supreme Court Justice, the Hon. John Clarke QC.

Mr Keim discusses nature of the Clarke Inquiry, the AFP, and the Commonwealth's response to the Inquiry.
